Yoga and Detox Workshop Day 5

Wow I can't believe it's Friday.  Today is the last day the yogi's will meet together as a group.  On the weekend we are on our own.  It was lovely to see everyone and everyone had lost weight!  It was nice to hear how this experience had effected everyone.  I definitely think doing yoga and a detox with a group is the way to go.  This morning we discussed Ayurveda and the doshas.  On Monday each yogi was given a test to take to figure out if they were Vata, Pita, or Kapha dominate.  On Friday they were given a chart based on Ayruvedic principles of what foods are good for them and what foods are not.  I think if you are going to do a detox Ayruvedic principles have to come into play for sure.  The yogi's were also given another goodie bag as a treat for coming along with me on this journey.

After I taught them yoga I head over to pilates (30 minutes) then to teach my class in HB.  For breakfast I had and omega bar and an apple.  I was hungry so everything tasted good.  For lunch I really chowed down.  I had the bristol sliders which I devoured.  I liked it so much I wanted more!  I also had part of the bbq salad and the fresh fruit with hemp seed.  I went big for lunch.  For dinner I had a salad which I added tomatoes too.  I wasn't that hungry since I pigged out at lunch.  I know that this weekend will be tough because I have a few parties to go and I will be running around.  I will do my best to stick with it but if not I will give myself credit for making it thus far.  Peace out
