Day 4 Spring Detox
Wow Day 4!!! Last night when I was walking to my car in the rain I did something to may ankle and it's been a bit tender ever since. I had a hard time sleeping last night but I realize that it was probably all the back bends that I did in class. They are stimulating for sure. I woke up did my pranayama/meditation and I felt a bit rushed but it was still okay. I quickly went to yoga and took my breakfast with me. I arrived late to yoga but had a good class. I made sure to take Viparita Karani. After yoga I met two of my yogis for coffee at Bristol Farms. It's part of my Thursday routine. I walked to the coffee sample bar and poured myself a 3 ounce cup of decaf. I took a sip and was like what the hell. I totally had forgotten that I was on a detox. I thought wow this is success I don't even realize that I am detoxing. I put the coffee down went to my car and got my breakfast "Beauty Breakfast Plate Fresh fruit cup" which I added strawberries too. It was so good. I started talking to my yogis about the detox and they were able to see what I was eating and they are going to do it with me in the summer. So cool! I headed to the gym to treadmill class with Kimball. So keep in mind I am detoxing and my ankle is out of whack but I am still going to do it. After that I steamed thinking it would help my ankle and help my hair as well. After all I got to look good. I ate a green apple it was so good. I love apples. After that headed home for lunch which I ate it was 3:00 so I was hungry. Lunch was stuffed tomatoes with marinated shitake salad. But it wasn't a tomato it was a stuffed red pepper and where was the shitake? Why did they say it was a tomato??? It was still good but I was curious. I taught my class which was packed and came home and ate the left over salad I had had from lunch and the day before. I knew I was going to Lululemon in NB for a party and wanted to be there on a full stomach. I knew that this was probably the night I was going to have wine. I had asked 118* if I could drink wine during this process. They said you could one glass organic wine because this is a lifestyle however they don't recommend it. I decided to have wine based on how much weight I had lost. Once I got there I had water. They ran out of water so I asked for a splash of wine or champagne. I didn't fell bad about it but it didn't taste that great. So keep in mind I still haven't had dinner ( just the lunch) but surprisingly I wasn't hungry. So very strange not to be hungry. Maybe it was because of all of the activity or maybe it was because this has become a part of my lifestyle. I am not worried about eating I am just living. I like this detox. So as I prepare to go to bed I am thinking to myself I am going to have an extra meal on my hands...I should probably give it to someone rather than waste it. I feel good about this detox because I don't feel like a prisoner. If I want to deviate I will so far so good. I am happy...I still have dessert Yummie!! ZZZZzzzzzz
