December in NYC

Greetings from NYC.  It is December and I am lucky enough to enjoy a few days off in NYC.  I arrived 12/21 and hit the ground running.  I flew in on the red eye but was able to sleep so when I arrived I was ready to go.  I stayed in Soho and enjoyed seeing hip and cool people, food, architecture, shops, and the overall eclecticness of that part of town.  I love Dean and Deluca...got to love everything in that place and of course I have to visit all my favorite shops!  I had dinner at Cipriani Downtown with my friend from Japan...we're is the recession...not an empty seat in the house!  Wow High Rollers!

On Thursday I was lucky enough to have breakfast with my mother and my aunt.  They are so cute...they are so worried about getting lost and or mugged!  I went up town and revisited my past life.  I went to Loro Piana and walked Madison avenue.  I love that.  I walked 5th avenue and went to all my favorite shops...I was in search of shoes...of course typical girl.  I always want shoes and to play with makeup!  After a long day.  I headed back to the hotel to refresh and prepare for dinner at the Mercer.  I was in heaven! What a perfect way to end a perfect day!

I was in NYC for a family wedding and Friday was the big day. The weather has been so great so of course I headed out to run around before the ceremony.  I was able to have tea with my yoga teacher from my 200 hour training.  It was so great I got to visit my past life and connect it with my current life.  I am so fortunate wow what an amazing life!  Aren't I lucky.  Now for the wedding!  The wedding was at Trump SoHo and it was so beautiful.  My cousin looked amazing and it was so great to see my family!  I felt like I was in a Jay Z video...was it the view of the city from the 46th floor, was it all of the beautiful and happy people, or was it because the DJ was playing New York Anthem?!  I had such a great time I didn't want it to end.  I walked home with my family to our hotel talking about how great everything was.  It was a wedding and a trip I won't ever forget.

I flew home on Saturday and now it's Christmas.  Merry Christmas everybody!  Enjoy every moment!

**some side notes lululemon pants are perfect for travel and when available travel business class or better xo
